What's new: schedule posts from Claude and ChatGPT, a weekly performance email, and a Day view for your calendar

A lot has landed since the last update. It covers new ways to write and plan, a clearer Analytics, and a long list of fixes so you don't lose work. The first three sections are the big ones.

Write and schedule from Claude or ChatGPT

You can now connect Say42 to Claude or ChatGPT and ask it to work with your posts. In your AI app, add a custom connector with this address: https://say42.com/api/mcp. Sign in to Say42 when it asks, and you'll see a page listing exactly what the app is asking for. Click Allow.

Once it's connected, the assistant can:

  • see your workspaces, brands and connected accounts, and open any post;
  • look up an account's free posting times and pick images from your Library;
  • save a draft for you to finish in Say42;
  • send a post for approval;
  • schedule a post for a future time.

It can write single posts, Threads threads, one-image posts and carousels, and it checks each network's character limit. On a brand that requires approval, it can only send posts for approval. It can never schedule around your approval step. An app that asked only to read has to ask you again before it can write anything.

To see or cut off a connected app, open Account → Security. You'll find it under Connected Apps. Revoke takes effect on the app's next request. The connector works for workspace owners and admins.

Analytics: Highlights, Trends and Posts, and a report in your inbox

Analytics is now three tabs instead of one long page.

  • Highlights is where it opens. It tells you in one sentence how the period went, shows your top post, and lists the posts that broke out. Each one is shown as a multiple of what your posts on that network usually get. Until five posts have been measured, it says it's still Learning your usual.
  • Trends has your stat cards, follower chart, reach and views.
  • Posts is the full posts table with its filters and export.

The period you pick stays the same when you switch tabs. Reach and Views now say which of your networks report them. Avg Engagement shows a dash instead of a misleading 0.00% when there's nothing to average.

You can also get the same recap by email. Open Workspace admin → Brands, pick your brand, open Settings, and switch on Performance Report. Choose Weekly (Mondays at 08:00, covering the week before) or Monthly (the 1st at 08:00, covering the month before), in your brand's time zone. Add up to ten recipients, including people outside your workspace, such as a client. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

A Day view for the calendar, with open slots in the grid

Calendar now has a Month | Day switch. You can also click a day's number to open that day. Day view shows the day hour by hour, so you can drag a post to another hour and it keeps its minute. Drop a Ready post on an hour and the schedule dialog opens already set to that time.

The Cadence gaps card above the calendar is gone. Open slots now show up right in the grid, as dashed chips with the time and account, wherever your posting times or a workflow expect a post and nothing is planned yet. Click one to start a post for that account, day and time.

The calendar is also tidier:

  • New Post now sits at the top of your brand's sidebar, on every page, instead of in each page's header.
  • The Status, Type, Workflow and Source dropdowns are one Filters button. Active filters show as chips you can remove one by one.
  • Post images on calendar cards are now off by default, to keep the grid readable. To bring them back, open the ⋯ menu and tick Show previews. The Show cadence gaps switch is there too.

Scheduling: every five minutes, and your posting times on any day

You can now pick minutes in steps of five (:05, :10 and so on) instead of only the quarter hours.

When you pick a date under Custom time, or in New Post with one account selected, you now see Posting times on that day as buttons, with used ones marked Taken. Before, the buttons only covered the next few times.

In List → Queue, a slot now counts as taken only by a post on that same account at that exact time. A slot with a draft planned onto it shows Planned: and the draft's title. Clicking New Post on a slot now picks its account for you.

If your brand doesn't use approval, drafts now have Mark as ready in their ⋯ menu. It moves the draft into Ready without choosing a time, so you can write now and schedule later.

A warning before you post the same thing twice

If a draft or scheduled post has the same text and images as another post on the same account, its page now shows a Same content on this account warning, with links to the matching posts. Within 24 hours of each other, the network may refuse the second one, and the warning says so. It never stops you from scheduling.

Images: paste, drag to reorder, and several per post when you edit

  • Paste an image. Copy a screenshot or an image from a web page and press Ctrl+V (⌘V on a Mac) in any image picker. The picker is in New Post, the draft page, the scheduled-post dialog and the series form.
  • Drag to reorder. Drag the images in a post into the order you want. On a phone, press and hold first.
  • More than one image when you edit. The draft page now has the same image strip as New Post, right in the Content card. Add as many images as the network takes: 10 on Threads and Instagram, 20 on LinkedIn. A scheduled post can grow into a carousel too.
  • Turn a Threads post into a thread later. On a draft's page, add a reply to turn the post into a thread. Remove every reply and it goes back to a single post.
  • Re-uploading an image you already have now attaches the one in your Library instead of refusing it.
  • Sharper Library cards. Images you upload from now on are shown from a larger preview, so they stay crisp on big screens.

Stop using an account, without breaking anything

An account's menu now has Stop using this account, which replaces Disconnect. It pauses that account's workflows, moves its scheduled posts back to Ready, and frees the slot on your plan. Its posts and analytics are kept. For 14 days you can bring it back with Use again, or remove it for good with Delete permanently.

On Accounts, accounts you've stopped using are listed separately under Not in use. They no longer count as broken on your brand's Overview. And if a network disconnects one of your accounts on its own, owners and admins now get an email about it.

Emails that get to the point

Notification emails now say what happened in one sentence, like "A scheduled post for Acme failed to publish on Instagram". They link straight to the fix, with Reconnect the account or Open the post. Trial and plan emails show dates in your workspace's time zone instead of UTC.

Invites

On your invites page, People you invited shows names only, not email addresses. Each invite link can carry a private note (Edit Note) that only you can see. An unused link can now be deleted, and the invite goes back to your balance.

Help is one click away

Your avatar menu at the bottom of the sidebar now has Report a problem, Join our Discord, and Talk to the founder, with links to reach the founder on Threads, X, LinkedIn or by email.

You won't lose what you typed

  • On a draft's page, Schedule, Approve, Mark as ready, Duplicate and the other actions use the last saved version. If you have unsaved edits, they now ask before throwing them away, instead of dropping them silently.
  • Save and Schedule wait until your images have finished uploading and processing. Before, a post could be saved without an image that was still on its way. An image that can't be processed is removed, and you're told why.
  • An image that finishes uploading late now lands in the post and thread item you picked it for, not whichever one is open.
  • If a post is saved but couldn't be scheduled, you're told exactly that, with a link to it. Before, pressing the button again made a copy.
  • In New Post, going from two accounts back to one now saves the caption you can actually see.
  • Dialogs no longer close or reset while they're still saving.

Smaller fixes

  • A post you published early shows on the calendar at the time it actually went out, not the time it was scheduled for.
  • Threads posts now go out with your original image, never a crop made for another network.
  • Rescheduling or editing a failed post with images prepares its images again, so it doesn't fail the same way twice.
  • Some TikTok and Instagram posts were missing from Analytics. They now sync, with their numbers.
  • Date and time-zone lists inside a dialog scroll with the mouse wheel and touch again. Date pickers no longer run off the bottom of the screen.
  • Actions that can't work on a draft whose planned date has passed are greyed out, and they tell you why.
  • Buttons say what they do: Schedule rather than "Schedule Story", Create Brand rather than "Continue". Red is kept for actions that are hard to undo, and archiving an article now asks first.
  • Posts brought in from your account's history show their image in the Ready panel.
  • New Post has a Create more switch next to its button, and the image picker's Library panel closes with Done.
  • The Posting activity grid no longer claims imports only reach back 90 days.
  • A brand's pages no longer refresh a second after they open, which could swallow your first click.
  • On a tablet-width screen, a long brand name no longer pushes the page sideways, and the header shows the page you're on. On a phone, the Library's failed-uploads alert fits the screen.
